With readers Andrew Craig, Carmen Grant, Tom Allen, Larry Larson and Cynthia Johnston Turner and music by the KW Youth Symphony, KW Brass, KWSPA Strings, harpist Lori Gemmell, Guzheng master Lina Cao and pianist and singer Andrew Craig.

A CEREMONY OF CAROLS - St. Matthews’ Sanctuary Choir with guest artist Lori Gemmell (harp)

All are welcome to join St. Matthews’ Sanctuary Choir, directed by Deacon Scott Knarr, and guest artist Lori Gemmell (harp) on Sunday, December 3, 2023 at 7:00 pm to mark the season of Advent with Benjamin Britten’s iconic A Ceremony of Carols. Britten’s most-recorded composition, A Ceremony of Carols, is loved the world over for its creative and often poignant blend of mid-twentieth-century harmonies with words drawn from late medieval English and ancient church Latin.

"Sandhills Parlour," is a project of the Home Range Story Kitchen, the Parlour is hosted by Marinus “Martin” de Groot, a passionately engaged local citizen who has been involved with arts, culture and heritage in Kitchener and area for many years.

UKRANIAN BENEFITS CONCERT AND VENDOR FAIR

Waterloo Region Grassroots Response to the Ukrainian Crisis and St. Matthew’s Church will be holding a benefits concert on October 22, 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm followed by a Ukrainian theme vendor fair from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Featured at this event is International artist Dariia Lytvishko who is currently giving charity organ recitals throughout Europe, England, and now Ontario to raise money for humanitarian support The proceeds at the event on Oct 22 will be used by WR Grassroots Response in support of the Ukrainian newcomers who are registered within our group.
