Waterloo Region Grassroots Response to the Ukrainian Crisis and St. Matthew’s Church will be holding a benefits concert on October 22, 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm followed by a Ukrainian theme vendor fair from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Featured at this event is International artist Dariia Lytvishko who is currently giving charity organ recitals throughout Europe, England, and now Ontario to raise money for humanitarian support

The proceeds at the event on Oct 22 will be used by WR Grassroots Response in support of the Ukrainian newcomers who are registered within our group. This includes newcomers in Waterloo Region and the surrounding communities that we are working with.

As the number of Ukrainian newcomers seeking help grows so does the need to find housing and employment solutions outside of Waterloo Region. WR Grassroots is expanding into communities in SW Ontario. This financial support will help to create additional emergency housing so that people and families do not end up in our Homeless shelters or on the streets.

We know this is already happening and our volunteer group needs your help.
